Level 1: Health Fundamentals Level 2: Care Coordination

Organization: Patient Naviator & Community Health Worker Training out of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO

Most people who enroll in these programs are already working as CHWs or health navigators. Many employers sponsor their employees to take this training to broaden their skills in their current jobs. The curriculum is more focused on core skills, rather than a specific condition or topic. The program is designed for those who are already working full time, and they work to keep the work manageable alongside work responsibilities. PNCT also recently finished a pilot of a CHW Fundamentals course. They are hoping to release this course to the public in the Summer of 2023 on a contract basis.

Virtual/In-Person/Hybrid: Virtual, or 3-day in-person training based in Oregon
