envision Specialized Training

Similar to CoTs and CoPs, the work we do in our Specialized Trainings is limited to CCR-2109 recipients and partner programs (CHWs, CHW allies, CHW program staff, etc.)

Specialized training focuses on skill development and capacity building. The goal of these live group trainings is to expand upon the knowledge elevated by subject matter experts during webinars and communities of practice.  They provide a supportive environment to practice applying knowledge to scenarios in real time and build key skills CHWs and CHW programs can use to support workforce sustainability and capacity building.  Timing, length, and number of sessions vary.

The trainings are more interactive than the envision webinars. Participants have the opportunity to work with facilitators to develop topical skills that they can apply to their work and beyond. The format allows for more time to ask and answer questions, have meaningful conversations, and participate in hands-on learning with trainers.
