CHW Asthma Training

Organization: America Lung Association

In the past, they have offered a training called Partnering at Home: building capacity for asthma, COPD and Indoor Air Quality home visits. This is specifically for CHWs who will be working with patients who have asthma or COPD and desire a home assessment.

There is also an Asthma Basics course being offered currently.

Virtual/In-Person/Hybrid: They are not currently offering any virtual trainings for CHWs.

Registration: Organizations can contact ALA to arrange to have a training for CHWs in their area.
